The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) is organizing, in cooperation and association with Majid Al Futtaim, the American Heart Association, the Emirati Cardiac Society and Burjeel Hospital, heart-health awareness campaign, which is targeting the women, in particular, and society in general, it aims to raise awareness on the risk factors associated with cardiovascular diseases and the importance of conducting medical checkups on a regular basis.

HE Abdul Rahman bin Mohammed Al Owais, the Minister of Health issued a Ministerial Decree No. (130) of 2019 on the reduction of the price of 410 similar drugs, in line with the government's directives to reduce the prices of services, and based on the Ministry's keenness to support and provide medicines at competitive prices and compatible with the lowest Gulf price in support of patients.
