As part of its Ramadan initiatives and in conjunction with the Year of Tolerance, the Ministry of Health and Prevention’s Youth Council (MoHAP’s Youth Council) organized, on Thursday evening, a Ramadan night under the theme “Ramadan Zaman” at the Old People’s Home, Sharjah.

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) revealed that the number of those who visited Smoking Cessation Clinics in 2018 has risen by 47% compared to the year 2016. Also, the number of people who quitted tobacco products in 2018 has increased by 122% compared to 2016.

This comes in parallel with an increase of 51% in the number of visiting consultants from 2017 to 2018.
