The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) hosted in Abu Dhabi the coordination meeting of the Supreme Committee for Organ Transplantation. The meeting was headed by H.E. Dr. Amin Hussein Al Amiri, Assistant Undersecretary for Public Health Policy and Licensing of the Ministry of Health & Prevention, with the participation of Dr. Ali Al Obaidili, Chairman of the National Organ Transplant Committee, representatives of all members of government and local authorities in the country, College of Medicine and Health Sciences of United Arab Emirates University, Dubai Health Authority “DHA”, Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, Cleveland Clinic, SEHA, Mubadala Investment Company (Mubadala) and Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences  (MBRU), and both of Abu Dhabi Health Authority and Dubai Health Authority.

Within the context of its strategy to promote healthcare system and develop medical facilities for the happiness of clients, the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has launched E-Licensing services, including licensing of private medical facilities and pharmaceutical companies, in addition to renewing both licenses, which target firms and business category.

The Ministry of Health & Prevention (MOHAP), represented by Health Education and Promotion Department, has launched the third phase of “Healthy and Positive Work Environment” initiative for the year 2019, in a ceremony held at the headquarters of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA). The initiative serves government directions to achieve happiness and positivity.

The Ministry of Health & Prevention (MoHAP) has announced the launching of a new E-service to submit complaints or observations against the private medical facilities, its medical and technical staff, which are dealing with members of the society.

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) took part in the “National Sports Day” events, which was held under the slogan “Emirates Unite Us” with the participation of the central administrations, medical districts and its affiliated facilities.

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has unveiled the launching of Robotic Surgeries Programme in Gynaecology and Obstetrics.
