The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), in collaboration with government, local, and private sector partners, has concluded the 14th edition` of the Heat Exhaustion and Disease Prevention Campaign in Sharjah, held throughout two months across various locations in the emirate under the theme “Your Safety is Our Priority”.

H.E. Dr. Mohammad Salim Al Olama, (MoHAP), stressed that the remarkable achievements of Emirati women were made possible thanks to the unlimited support of the wise leadership, which has made women’s empowerment a key pillar of the UAE’s development journey.

Celebrating Emirati Women’s Day under the theme ‘Hand in Hand, We Celebrate 50 Years’ represents a defining milestone in the UAE’s journey of women’s empowerment. The occasion reflects our pride in Emirati women, who across decades have demonstrated resilience and played a vital role in shaping the nation’s progress.

His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Salim Al Olama, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), has stated that organ donation is a noble humanitarian act that embodies the highest values of solidarity and compassion in advanced and compassionate societies. It offers renewed hope to patients whose lives depend on transplantation and brings comfort to their families.

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) held a coordination meeting with representatives from private hospitals to discuss ways to improve national newborn screening programme and ensure its alignment with the UAE’s approved national standards in accordance with federal health legislation.
