H.E. Ahmed bin Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of Health and Prevention, led the UAE’s delegation taking part in the 11th meeting of Their Excellencies the Ministers of Health in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the 88th GCC Health Ministers meeting, hosted by Kuwait in the presence of GCC Health Ministers. 

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has organised a three-day specialised training programme in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) to equip healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills to implement the integrated care for older people approach (ICOPE). Held in Dubai, the event is part of the national campaign to promote elderly health and aligns with the National Framework for Healthy Ageing 2025–2031.

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has launched a comprehensive national plan to support the health of the elderly, featuring a one-month national awareness campaign under the theme “Your presence…. brings health and wellness” As part of the plan, MoHAP also launched the National Framework for Healthy Ageing 2025–2031 and introduced a set of pioneering initiatives designed to enhance the quality of life of older adults and prevent dementia.

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) today launched the 10th annual national seasonal influenza awareness campaign, in cooperation with Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre (ADPHC), Department of Health Abu Dhabi (DoH), Emirates Health Services (EHS), Dubai Health Authority (DHA), Dubai Health (DH), and Sharjah Health Authority (SHA), under the theme ‘Protect Yourself… Protect Your Community.'

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has taken part in the implementation of the GCC 'Mu'azzaz' Project for Healthy shopping malls and Centres 2025.

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior (MoI), has participated in a series of innovative initiatives as part of the unified ‘Summer Without Accidents’ campaign. The traffic drive aims to raise awareness of preventive measures that protect the health and safety of community members, reduce road accidents, and prevent illnesses arising from high summer temperatures. These efforts are set not only to promote public health but also to build a preventive society that enjoys sustainable health and safety.
