Bariatric Surgery Center at Al Qassimi Hospital has obtained the accreditation from the Surgical Evaluation Corporation (SRC)
AS part of MoHAP’s strenuous efforts to implement the National Indicator Standards related to the rate of accredited health facilities and to achieve its strategy aiming to foster quality systems, therapeutic, health and drug safety as per international standards.The Ministry of Health and Prevention revealed that the Bariatric Surgery Center at Al Qassimi Hospital has obtained the accreditation as a Center of Excellence in the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery from the Surgical Evaluation Corporation (SRC), a leading international institution for review and accreditation of hospitals and surgical departments as centers of excellence.

Ras Al Khaimah Hospitals Receives JCI Accreditation
The Ministry of Health and Prevention recently revealed that its hospitals network in Ras Al Khaimah (Abdullah Bin Omran Hospital for Obstetrics and Gynecology & Shaam Hospital) has received the Joint Commission International accreditation (JCI). The first-of-its-kind achievement in the Middle East, after identifying the health programs and services provided and to evaluate the performance in accordance with JCI’s standards.

Ministry of Health and Prevention Won the IHF Gold Award
MOHAP has won the Gold Award at the World Hospital Congress of the International Hospital Federation (IHF) which was held in Oman. MoHAP came out victorious as the Gold Award winner of the IHF/EOH Excellence Award for Leadership and Management in Healthcare for its AI-based innovative project ‘PaCE’ (Performance and Clinical Excellence). ‘PaCE’ was chosen as the best project out of 121 projects from 92 organizations in 34 countries.

The Gold Dolphin Award
the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has been named winner of the Gold &Black Dolphin Awards at the Cannes Corporate Media and TV Festival 2019 recently held in France, in the Best Music category. For its film “Azm”, which was the best promotional campaign to a government health initiative. “Azm” film was selected out of more than 1000 films submitted from all around the world.
