A national digital healthcare application launched by the UAE health authorities, Al Hosn was honored for its management of the COVID-19 pandemic in the UAE in collaboration with the health authorities in the country. The app's victory was announced at the International Business Awards gala in London, where Al Hosn competed against over 3700 nominations from numerous other countries, all of which were filtered and evaluated by a panel of international experts, specialists, and innovators.

Adding yet another feather to its cap, the Ministry of Health and Prevention has become the first entity in the Middle East and North Africa to transition from the British Standard for Effective Governance, BS 13500 to ISO 37000:2021 Governance of organizations, according to the British Standards Institution (BSI). The ISO accreditation has been granted to MoHAP after fulfilling the requirements, conditions, and standards for effective governance of the health sector and following comprehensive and rigorous audits conducted by a team of international experts and arbitrators from the British Standards Institution. The new milestone will reinforce the ministry's position as a leading entity in putting the best international standards for effective governance management systems into practice.
