The Best Smart App of 2022
The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) and the UAE national digital healthcare platform (Al Hosn) won the Bronze Stevie Award 2022 for Most Valuable Government Response during COVID-19. A national digital healthcare application launched by the UAE health authorities, Al Hosn was honored for its management of the COVID-19 pandemic in the UAE in collaboration with the health authorities in the country. The app's victory was announced at the International Business Awards gala in London, where Al Hosn competed against over 3700 nominations from numerous other countries, all of which were filtered and evaluated by a panel of international experts, specialists, and innovators.

Ministry of Health and Prevention wins two categories in the Mohammed Bin Rashid Government Excellence Award
The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has won two categories in the Mohammed Bin Rashid Government Excellence Award, including Best Entity in the field of innovation, and Best Entity for Remote Work Applications. Dr. Mona Obeid Al Ayyan and Dr. Issam Mohammad Nour Al Zarouni have also been awarded The Prime Minister’s Medal for Distinguished Doctor, while Wedad Bu Hamid, Director of the Government Communication Department at the Ministry, received The Prime Minister’s Medal for the field of Government Communication. MOHAP becomes first entity in MENA region to get ISO 37000:2021 Governance of Organizations from BSI
Adding yet another feather to its cap, the Ministry of Health and Prevention has become the first entity in the Middle East and North Africa to transition from the British Standard for Effective Governance, BS 13500 to ISO 37000:2021 Governance of organizations, according to the British Standards Institution (BSI). The ISO accreditation has been granted to MoHAP after fulfilling the requirements, conditions, and standards for effective governance of the health sector and following comprehensive and rigorous audits conducted by a team of international experts and arbitrators from the British Standards Institution. The new milestone will reinforce the ministry's position as a leading entity in putting the best international standards for effective governance management systems into practice.

MoHAP receives two ISO certifications in Security Management System and IT Service Management
