The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) took part in the annual UAE eHealth Week which is organized by HIMSS, Dubai, with the participation of H.E. Awad Al Ketbi, Assistant Undersecretary of the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention's Support Services Sector, Ms. Mubaraka Mubarak Ibrahim, Director of Information Technology Department, and Mr. Ali Alajmi, Director of Health Information Systems Department, in addition to leading experts in the healthcare in the UAE and around the world

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) has launched a strategic framework for happiness and quality of life, in conjunction with the International Day of Happiness, which falls on 20 March of every year and in line with the National Quality of Life Framework, which includes 3 levels, 14 pillars and 9 goals.

Within the context of its strategy to carry out the national standards of health facilities and to enhance its surveillance and supervisory role, in addition to ensuring that the society has access to healthcare service in accordance with the highest global standards, the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) is keen to pursue its inspection campaigns, through a competent team from the Empowerment and Healthcare Compliance Department, to ensure the adherence of the medical facilities to requirements of practicing the profession.

The Ministry of Health and Prevention is very keen to upgrade all medical services provided to the public. The residence-visa medical check-up, which falls within the ministry’s priorities,are being developed day after day to immunize the society against infectious diseases, speed up medical examinations procedures with high accuracy and help obtain the residence-visa swiftly and ensure the happiness of the community members using innovative and leading work mechanisms.

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) has stressed that the National Periodic Health Screening and Cancer Screening initiatives titled ‘Etminan’  are running smoothly and perfectly as scheduled. 

The Ministry of Health and Prevention has announced the inauguration of “Breast Care” and “Pain Management” Unit sat Saqr Hospital in Ras Al Khaimah to help patients early detect breast cancer and treat those with chronic pains. The two units are equipped with state-of-the-art medical technologies according to international quality standards and under the supervision of specialists.
