The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has unveiled the launching of Robotic Surgeries Programme in Gynaecology and Obstetrics. 

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has announced its participation in the 4th edition of the “UAE National Sports Day” , which will be held on March 7, under the theme “Emirates Unite US”, aims to promote positive interaction between a society that collects multiple nationalities and cultures living in harmony, peace and happiness in the UAE.

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) announced the Visiting Doctors Program for March 2019, which provides consultation, diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients. Under the program, doctors will visit Al Qassimi Hospital, Al Qassimi Women and Child Hospital, Fujairah, Kalba, Kuwait (in Sharjah and Dubai), Obaidullah, Saqr and Masafi hospitals, to provide medical services in their respective fields of expertise. These include Obesity and Laparoscopic Surgery, Gastroenterology, Cardiology, Pediatrics, Neurosurgery, Laparoscopy, Endoscopy, Kidney Disease, Pediatric Cardiac Surgery, Psychiatric Disorders, Pediatric Endocrinology, Pediatric Intensive Care, Orthopedics, Pediatric Respiratory Medicine, Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Parkinson's Disease, Pediatric Neurology, Arthroscopy, Open Heart Surgery for Children, Ophthalmology, Endocrinology, Interventional Cardiology.

In collaboration with Monash University, Australia, the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) organized a conference on “Health Innovation Accelerators”. The conference was held at the Learning & Development Centre in Sharjah, as part of the UAE Month of Innovation’s events under the slogan “Innovate For Health”.

As per the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) has announced the renaming of Al Baraha Hospital, Dubai to Al Kuwait Hospital, in the wake of the ministerial decree No. 16 of 2019. Under this decree, the name of “Al Baraha Hospital” will be replaced with “Al Kuwait Hospital” wherever mentioned in any federal legislation or official correspondence

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) organized the “Innovation in Nursing” Conference to display the latest nursing innovations, enhance the vital role of innovation in nursing care and keep abreast of global trends and evidence-based practices, within the framework of the UAE Innovation Month held at Sharjah Training and Development Center under the slogan "Innovate for Health".
