It aims to provide primary and secondary healthcare services to elderly citizens and residents in remote areas either through Home Health Care service or specialized Mobile Health Clinics. Nearly, 3,000 people have benefitted from this campaign since its launch 3 years ago.

It is an online portal where a user can access his/her medical records; view laboratory tests, radiology reports, and other related documents; check schedule for medicines and vaccinations; verify health problems and allergies; and book, cancel or change upcoming appointments. This service is accessible through apps on any smart device, including phones, tablets and desktops.

Based on the keenness of the Ministry of Health and Prevention to keep pace with the developments in the healthcare sector and to access innovative treatment methods within the framework of the Ministry's comprehensive plan to incorporate 100% artificial intelligence (AI) into medical services, the ministry has launched the " Naselkom " initiative. It aims to develop the services and treatment of rheumatic and arthritic diseases using the telemedicine system where primary care physician and patients have a remote specialist between specialized and community hospitals. This procedure is an important step in providing treatment as quickly as possible and helps in closely monitoring the patient according to the therapeutic plan, thus contributing to alleviating complications resulting from these diseases.

The National Health Survey aims to strengthen the country’s health database through the collection of reliable field data on the current health situation in the UAE, which will help in the development of policies and strategies designed to improve the quality of healthcare services based on key health indicators.

This initiative aims to develop a unified database of patients that will help secure key details of each patient’s medical records, improve health care, and ensure wider patient engagement in accordance with the highest international standards and best practices. The implementation of this initiative is divided into three phases; namely, linking government authorities, followed by that of private hospital and outpatients.
